This article describes the AWS information required for establishing VPSA connectivity in AWS. Please refer to the AWS Outposts article if using a local AWS Outposts.
Within the VPSA creation wizard, you are asked to provide a bit of information that will help us get your VPSA connected to your AWS account.
Where do I find this information?
AWS Account ID - this AWS ID(a 12 digit long identifier) of the account that will connect to Zadara. From your AWS Management console, navigate to "Your Account" page
AWS ASN Information - Autonomous System numbers are used to identify networks that present a clearly defined external routing policy to the Internet. AWS Direct Connect requires an ASN to create a public or private virtual interface. In case you do not have a Direct Connect setup in your account, you can safely proceed with 64512 (AWS default).
In case you are using an existing Direct Connect, open the VGW (Virtual gateway) section under the VPC service and confirm your ASN ID.
VPC CIDR Block - the IPv4 addresses range of your VPC in CIDR block format. (default: 172.31.0.0/16). From your AWS management console open the VPC service and click on the VPC details.
